Our Worship

We consider it a high honor to be able to gather together and worship God with other like-minded people. In our worship assemblies, you will see and hear that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are elevated and glorified. We will praise them and thank them.

What Can I Expect?

Our worship assemblies are purposefully designed to give glory to God and edify everyone present. The songs, prayers, preaching and every activity will be Bible-derived, and designed to accomplish the greatest amount of good possible. You will neither see nor hear anything outside of Bible teaching.

You will hear prayers that come from the hearts of people just like you - no memorized, fill-in-the-blank repititions. The only music you will hear is that which God Himself authorized and asked for: singing from the heart. We have no choir or chorus other than the congregation, and we all raise our voices in one accord to praise the magnificent God of heaven!

The preaching done at Expressway is Bible preaching. It is carefully studied and delivered to charge the hearers to be faithful to God, and good to each other. You will hear no pop-psychology or quick-fixes; only God's word applied to the needs of mankind.

 On every Lord's Day, we partake of the Lord's Supper - just as the Bible commands it. Also on each Lord's Day, we take up a contribution just like the first century Christians did - to continue the work of God. You, as a visitor, will not be asked for money at any time in our assemblies.
